The Oblate House

Some satellite pictures of the Oblate House before it was demolished - A brief trip down Memory Lane

Located in Balmville, NY (just outside of Newburgh), the Oblate House was the home of Mid Hudson Tres Dias from the very first weekend in 1972 until it was sold by the Catholic Church in 2000 and then demolished. This facility holds fond memories for many of us who spent hours and hours preparing for and running weekends. For those of you who remember, can you pick out the water tower, the propane tank and dumpster (behind the kitchen), the Priests Residence, the driveway toward the gym that we walked for mananita, the gazebo, and the small altar (behind the Gazebo) where communion was often served in nice weather?
